June 21, 1937-June 7, 2014

MARANA, Ariz. — Audrey A. Weber, 76, of Marana, Arizona, passed away on June 7, 2014.

She was born on June 21, 1937, on a farm in northwestern Ohio near the town of Fort Jennings to Leander and Lena Bruskotter.

She graduated from Fort Jennings High School in 1955. In 1959, she earned her B.S. in education from Mary Manse College, an all-women college in Toledo. Later in 1959, she married Donald L. Weber in Fort Jennings. After teaching off and on for about five years, she became a full-time mother and homemaker. In 1968, she and Don relocated to northern Colorado. After the children left home, she started to work in the tourist industry in Estes Park, Colorado, working in the bed & breakfast business. She really loved this business meeting tourists from all over the country and the world. After retirement, she and Don moved to west of Marana where it doesn’t snow.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was especially known for her cooking by many family members and friends. And travelling was important to her as she and Don were able to travel to 26 countries in their lifetime.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years; her children, Anita (Rick) Miller of Odessa, Texas, Vicki Harbert of Greeley, Colorado, Nick Weber of Phoenix, Bill (Kelly) Weber of Loveland, Colorado, and Kathye (Dieter) Martini of Carbondale, Colorado; three grandchildren, Steven Weber of Loveland and Alec and Alma Fawaz of Odessa; and two brothers, Leonard and Donald Bruskotter of Fort Jennings.

She was predeceased by a brother, Doyle; a sister, Sharon Bruskotter; and a son-in-law, Amine Fawaz.

Services will be private; immediate family only. At a later date, there will be a Celebration of her Life for extended family and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Marana Mortuary & Cemetery, Marana, Arizona.
