Master Gardeners to hold plant sale PDF Print E-mail

VAN WERT — The Annual Ohio State University Extension Van Wert County Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Sale will be held April 26, opening at 8 a.m. The Plant Sale will be held in the Junior Fair Building on the fairgrounds.

The proceeds through the sale of plants will benefit the OSUE Van Wert County Master Gardener Volunteers’ projects, such as the Garden for the Senses, Children’s Garden and their continuing educational activities.

The sale will feature potted herbs, both culinary and aromatic, plus a variety of colorful perennials have been selected for the sale. Gardening items are also available.

Special Demonstration

Lose your ash tree??? Ask an expert about tree replacement and tree planting preparation: 10-minute demonstration at 8:30, 9, 9:30 and 10 a.m. presented by Curtis Young, OSU Extension Educator.

Stop by the Junior Fair Building on April 26 to purchase perennials or herbs to beautify your outdoor living spaces or as a gift for that special gardener in your family.
