FORT JENNINGS — The Fort Jennings boys cagers overcame a 35-30 deficit to start the fourth period with a 20-9 dominance to down Pandora-Gilboa 50-44 in Putnam County League action Saturday night inside “The Fort” of Fort Jennings High School.

Connor Wallenhorst led a balanced Musketeer unit with 12 markers, along with 11 by Mark Metzger and 10 from Nick Von Sossan.

Jared Tousley and Seth Schmenk shared scoring honors for the Rockets with 13 each.

The Musketeers canned 17-of-43 shots, 1-of-16 beyond the arc, for 39.5 percent and 15-of-25 at the line for 60 percent. They grabbed 22 boards (7 offensive) as Wallenhorst nabbed seven; nine assists (Von Sossan and Alex Berelsman 3 each); 11 steals (Austin Kehres 3); one turnover; and seven fouls.

The Rockets counted 19-of-41 overall (4-of-10 long range) for 46.3 percent and 2-of-5 foul shots (40%); 29 rebounds (8 offensive) as Tousley secured 12; eight assists (Tousley, Schmenk and Brian Schneck 2 each); five steals (Dustin Rieman 2); eight errors; and 21 fouls.

The Musketeers visit Arlington Tuesday in a game postponed from Nov. 29.
