COLUMBUS GROVE — Lincolnview’s boys basketball team needed two extra 4-minute sessions to upend homestanding Columbus Grove 59-57 in Northwest Conference boys action Friday night inside The Dog Pound of Columbus Grove High School.

Eli Farmer paved the way for the victors (6-3) with 15 and Kyle Williams added 14. The Lancers downed 16-of-31 2s, 6-of-17 3s and 9-of-18 free throws. They added 18 boards, eight assists and 11 turnovers.

Will Vorhees powered for 21 markers and 11 boards for the Bulldogs (6-3, 1-1 NWC), while Jace Darbyshire added 13 and Riley Brubaker 11 (9 boards). They counted 20-of-37 from 2-point land, 2-of-9 beyond the arc and 11-of-14 singles. They added 27 rebounds, 11 assists (Joey Warnecke 4 and Logan Diller 3) and 19 miscues.

Lincolnview is at Miller City tonight, while Grove hosts Leipsic.
