At 4:33 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Sixth Street for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers met with both parties involved. After speaking with both parties, it was determined that the two would separate for the night until things calmed down.
At 2 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Adams Street for a domestic dispute between a mother and her juvenile son. Upon arrival, officers found that the juvenile had left the residence. After locating the juvenile, he was returned to the residence. Officers spoke with both mother and son and determined that no further action would be needed.
At 9:20 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to Eastowne Shopping Plaza to locate a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and spoke with the occupants, Jeffrey Eley, 42, and Margo Eley, 42, both of Delphos. Officers attempted to gather information from the couple but found that they were unable to cooperate due to their high level of intoxication. Officers arrested both Jeffrey and Margo and transported them to the Allen County Jail. They will be facing a charge of persistent disorderly conduct by intoxication in Lima Municipal Court.
