Girl Scout Troop 20278 earned its Bronze Award over the summer.

The Bronze Award is the highest award that can be earned as a Junior Girl Scout.

In order to earn the award, the girls have to complete 20 hours towards a project that benefits the community. The troop girls decided to do a project at Woodhaven, a Girl Scout camp in Lima. The girls were responsible for planning what needed to be done, getting cost of supplies, purchasing the supplies and earning the money to pay for the project. They earned the money by having a bake sale. They created a new fire pit and improved the flower beds.

Junior Girl Scouts are in fourth and fifth grade. The troop girls are now in fifth grade.
