On Aug. 3, 2010, a New York City panel unanimously voted to allow the construction of the controversial Cordoba Mosque just blocks from “ground zero” of the World Trade Center’s Sept. 11, 2001, Muslim-caused disaster site.
Daisy Kahn, spokesperson for the Cordoba Initiative, and Executive Director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement said, “We want to repair the breach and be at the front and center to start the healing.”  I wonder where Ms. Kahn and her Muslim brotherhood have been for the last nine years. They’ve obviously not been “front and center” in the healing process or standing in public and denouncing terrorist acts committed by their brethren. This Mosque is not about healing; it’s about planting a flag of victory. “Cordoba” is in reference to a mosque built during the record 700 year long Islamic rule over Spain in which Christians and Jews lived in a state of “dihimmitude”, acknowledging Islamic superiority, accepting Islamic power, paying poll taxes for the right to live, and living under social, economic, and religious restrictions, reserved for third-class citizens.  Are they trying to tell us something?
The hypocrite NYC Mayor Bloomberg tried to placate the feelings of the 9/11 victims families by suggesting that NYFD firefighters rushed into the trade center towers in order to protect the Constitution!  Chiding the dissenters, he stated, “We do not honor their (firefighters) lives by denying the very constitutional rights they died protecting,” and “To deny religious freedom to Muslim’s would play into the terrorists hands.”
You would have to be a complete idiot to buy that reasoning, especially coming from a mayor who stands in the way of second amendment gun rights for every law abiding American in New York City.  Only the criminals have guns there. I am amazed that a city full of people who dealt with the post-attack carnage and chaos of that day could not muster enough opposition to stop this abomination.
Where does this dangerous tolerance of hateful ideology come from? It comes from the top. When the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, stands in front of Muslims of the world and proclaims that the call to Islamic prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sunset” and that “America is not a Christian nation”, contrary to polls that suggest 80% of us are, the Muslim world gets the apparently correct impression that they have a “fellow traveler” in the White House, empowering them to steer the same course they have taken in Europe and the United Kingdom; a course that those nations have been warning us about for years.  He also claims that we are not at war with Islam. This is absolutely correct, however, Islam IS at war with us and this mosque is just one of the first salvos fired across our bow.  The next one can be seen at the Atlas Shrugs website.
Evidently, there are previously unreported plans in the works to build a “crescent shaped” monument with a mosque and minaret at the crash site of United flight 93 in Shanksville, PA. As you will recall, Flight 93 was the aircraft that was courageously taken back by the brave passengers and crew just before it crashed. It will be called “The Crescent of Embrace”; you should picture the “embrace” part as that of a python.
