FORT JENNINGS — Neither team scored in the third period Saturday night but Ayersville used a 40-21 edge in the second and fourth periods to down host Fort Jennings 59-44 in boys scholastic basketball action at The Fort.

Bauman led all scorers and the Pilots with 23 markers, including three bombs.

Juniors Connor Wallenhorst and Nick Von Sossan paced the Musketeers (0-1) with 10 markers each.

Fort Jennings hosts Antwerp 6 p.m. (junior varsity start) Friday.
