Area school children will delight as the Lima Symphony Orchestra presents two Young People’s Concerts on Tuesday at the Crouse Performance Hall, Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center at 9:30 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.
More than 60 professional musicians led by Maestro Crafton Beck will perform “Bach to the Future.”
This year’s concert will take students on six adventures through space and time. With the help of a special time machine and the power of music, listeners will travel back in history as the orchestra performs music from various historical periods. Each musical selection will be paired with popular historical events for a truly complete experience.
More than 3,800 students from 45 area schools are scheduled to attend the performances, which are being offered to the schools free of charge.
These performances have completely sold out again this year.
