The ghosts of history past will come to life at the museum, 620 W. Market St., Lima. Have a conversation with Ben Faurot, Sheriff Jesse Sarber or Lieutenant Commander Edmund Taylor. Chat with Elizabeth MacDonell about her electric car. Former first lady Martha Washington will tell you about Mount Vernon while the Meadow Gold Milkman will share stories of home deliveries. Aurelia McCullough will narrate her story of traveling to Ohio via Conestoga Wagon. Kids can meet Easter Straker, sit in the Birthday Chair and get their handful of pennies. From Moses McCluer to Phyllis Diller, your family will have fun meeting more than 40 costumed characters that shaped our history.
Doors will be open from 6-8 p.m. Souvenirs will be available for kids. Dress up like your favorite historical character and join in the fun. Kids in Halloween costumes welcome. Admission: $5 adults, $3 for kids 12 and under. For more information, call the Museum at 419-222-9426.
