DELPHOS — Miller City scored a goal in the first half and St. John’s one in the second.

All told, the Lady Blue Jays and Lady Wildcats battled to a 1-1 draw in girls soccer action Monday at the St. John’s Annex.

The visitors (3-8-3) tallied at the 2:29 mark of the first half on a long floater by freshman Tiffany Welty over Jays’ junior netminder Samantha Wehri (5 saves versus 10 shots).

The hosts (4-7-2) got the equalizer at the 20:30 mark of the second half as sophomore Erin Williams put in a 14-yarder past Miller City sophomore keeper Amanda Simon (7 saves vs. 10 shots).
