She was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Paulding County, to Kimber “Pete” Thatcher and Edith (Mosier) Thatcher, who preceded her in death.
She married Joseph “Joe” Osenga, who survives in Cloverdale.
Survivors include three children, Joe (Susan) Osenga of Ft. Jennings, Kim (Pam) Osenga and Scot (Marcia) Osenga of Van Wert; a sister, Margie Dunlap of Bellefontaine, Ohio; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a child, Dennis Pollock; and two sisters, Colleen Kline and Carol Jean Thatcher.
Mrs. Osenga had worked at numerous jobs in Van Wert and Grover Hill. She was a former member of Antioch Christian Church in Cloverdale, a member of Ottoville V.F.W. Auxiliary and a former member of the Community Club of Grover Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Rev. Paul Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Middle Point.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
