|Owner cited for leaving dogs in car|

At 2:32 p.m. on Tuesday, Delphos Police were called to the 1100 block of Elida Avenue in reference to a citizen’s complaint of two smaller dogs being locked inside a parked vehicle with the windows rolled completely up.
Upon officers’ arrival, the vehicle was located and a short time later, the vehicle operator was also located exiting a local store.
Harry Moorman, 89, of Delphos was cited for leaving the animals inside a parked vehicle with no ventilation or water.
