The Marion Township Trustees held their regular scheduled meeting on April 8 at the Marion Township office with the following members present: Joseph Youngpeter, Howard Violet and Jerry Gilden.
The purpose of the meeting was to pay bills and conduct ongoing business. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. The Trustees then reviewed the bills and gave approval for 17 checks totaling $22,687.91.
Road Foreman Elwer gave the Trustees a permit from Ft. Jennings Telephone Co. to do some work in the area of 8359 Mericle Road, which the Trustees approved and signed.
He also gave the trustees a revised copy of the road program with cuts to stay in line with monies appropriated for the program for 2013.
Fiscal Office Kimmet gave the trustees the Fund Status and Bank Reconciliation Reports for March 31 for their review and signature.
He presented a letter from the North Central Ohio Solid Waste District advising of possible reimbursement for any cost to dispose of material collected during clean up along roads in the township.
He also advised trustees of a Certificate of Recognition received from AEP for the energy efficiency project completed in 2012
here being no further business, a motion to adjourn by Trustee Violet was seconded by Trustee Gilden and passed unanimously.
