The Do-Right Motorcycle Club will host “Hearts For Braden,” to help raise money for a heart transplant for Braden, son of Matt and Michelle Knebel.
The event starts at 5 p.m. on March 23.
Braden was born on December 7, 2009 and has already underwent three heart surgeries and a tube/nissen surgery. Braden was diagnosed with Restrictive Cardiomyopathy in July 2012 and the doctors at Children’s HealthCare of Atlanta recommended a life-saving heart transplant. The Knebel family has asked for financial assistance from Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for Braden’s transplant related expenses. One hundred percent of the donations collected by the Do-Right M.C. will be sent to COTA in honor of Braden (direct donations to the family are considered taxable income).
There will be live music at the event, performed by The Leftovers, The Will Freed Trio and Spit Snake Johnson and the Rattlers. The evening will also include auctions, raffles and merchandise.
