FORT JENNINGS — Fort Jennings celebrated Senior Night for a trio of 12th-graders playing their final home games at The Fort, handing visiting Jefferson a 56-34 loss. Senior Macy Schroeder turned in a strong all-around game: 13 points, seven assists, six steals and five boards. The other two seniors put in double-doubles: Gabbi German added a team-high 14 markers and 10 boards and Gina Stechschulte 11 and 11. The Musketeers (8-12) also held the Lady Jeffcats (7-14) to 21.8-percent shooting: 12-of-55. The lone Jefferson player in double digits in scoring was junior Rileigh Stockwell with 15. Junior Gabby Pimpas added six. Fort Jennings has a makeup game at Lincolnview Tuesday, while Jefferson hosts Bluffton in a Northwest Conference clash Thursday to finish the regular season. He replaces Tim Buschur. |
