I’m glad to see that the Farmer’s Market located on the parking lot at 3rd and Main streets is continuing to grow each Saturday morning. I hope everyone makes time to check out the freshly harvested produce, unique craft items, homemade sauces and honey, and a whole lot more. I actually planted a couple of tomato plants, peppers, onions, and pumpkins this year. There won’t be a bountiful harvest for me to take to the Farmer’s Market, but there may be enough for a batch of salsa and a pumpkin or two for my grandson this fall and for our own front porch. Can’t wait to harvest them.
