SPENCERVILLE — Village Administrator Sean Chapman summarized the last round of water line leaks Spencerville has endured during the council meeting Monday night. The total is up to 42 — which cost $1,500 each to repair.

“It’s clear I need to do something new and we must focus on our critical infrastructure in the near future,” he said adamantly. “Repairing a leak after the water treatment plant is online will cost upwards of $2,500-$3,000.”
