LIMA — Mildred C. Hartman, 95, of Lima passed away Saturday at her residence.

Mildred was born on Feb. 5, 1922, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to Daniel and Anna (Keener) Martin, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on June 20, 1946, to Edwin Hartman, who also preceded her in death.

Mildred is survived by two sons, Harvey (Kriss) Hartman of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Doyle (Chris) Hartman of Delaware; three daughters, Lynette Ream and Marilyn Hartman of Elida and Phyllis (Adrian) Thomas of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Jake Martin of Indiana and Lewis (Wilma) Martin of Wisconsin; two sisters, Ella Hershey and Rhoda Stoll, both of Wisconsin; two sisters-in law, Ada Martin and Pearl Martin; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel Hartman; three brothers; and one sister.

Mildred was a member of the Pike Mennonite Church and was an active member of the Women’s Sewing Circle at church.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Pike Mennonite Church, Pastors Darwin Hartman and Glenn Radar officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Pike Mennonite Church.
