DELPHOS — Delphos residents north of the railroad tracks between First and Cleveland streets should still boil water that is going to be consumed or cooked with.

Under a boil advisory, it is suggested that all consumed water be brought to a rolling boil for a full three (3) minutes prior to consumption. This is a precautionary measure to be taken until samples can be tested to confirm water purity. A notice will be issued at the completion of the test.

The Delphos Herald will be notified of a “Boil Water Cancellation” after the necessary sampling and analyses of the water have been completed.

The Delphos Department of Public Utilities continued to work on an 8-inch main water line break on North Main Street between 10th and 11th streets. Low pressure and discolored water may be experienced until the water line is fixed.

If customers have questions, they should call the Utility Office at 419-695-4010.
