DELPHOS — Delphos Police investigate a two-vehicle crash at 4:37 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Pierce and West Second streets.

According to reports, Merle V. Harruff, 49, of Delphos was traveling northbound on South Pierce Street near the intersection of West Second Street when his Chevy Blazer struck a Ford Taurus driven by Carol Cross, 61, of Delphos in the rear.

Cross complained to the officer of neck pain was treated on the scene by Delphos Fire and Rescue. She refused further treatment.

Harruff admitted to failing to stop behind the Cross vehicle and that he had no insurance. He was charged with failure to maintain control.

Both vehicles received minimal damage and were driven from the scene.
