DELPHOS — There are numerous Easter activities on the calendar.

They include:

“Arise” at TUMC

Trinity United Methodist Church will present the Easter Cantata “Arise” at 7 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity Family Life Center at 702 Ambrose Drive.

“Arise” depicts the life of Christ from birth to death to resurrection. The play is quite moving with an elaborate set and costume design along with a full choir as live accompaniment.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Easter Egg Hunt

First Assembly of God will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 12 years of age at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at 327 S. Bredeick St.

Children will enjoy games, prizes and hot dogs.

All are welcome.

Easter Egg and Bake Sale

The Delphos VFW Post 3035 Auxiliary will hold its annual Easter Egg and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. until sold out on April 15. Colored eggs, pickled eggs, deviled eggs, egg salad, homemade noodles, baked goods and more will be available.

Easter Bake Sale

Delphos Wesleyan Church will hold their annual Easter Bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon on April 15 at Chief Supermarket.

Baked goods, colored eggs and other goodies will be available.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny will be hopping by the Delphos Public Library from 9:30-11 a.m. on April 15 to visit with children ages 0-8 for breakfast and activities that include face painting, egg hunt and games.

Delphos Optimists Club Easter Egg Hunt

The Delphos Optimist Club will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. on April 15.

Thousands of eggs will be filled with candy and prize slips for children to gather.
