  • PUTNAM COUNTY — The Putnam County Health Department has been made aware of six individuals from the county who were at the same bridal shop in Akron as the most recently-diagnosed Ebola patient, Amber Vinson.

  • Mary Ann Ball

    SPENCERVILLE — Mary Ann Ball, 69, of rural Spencerviile, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at St. Rita’s Medical Center with her family at her side, following an extended illness.

  • On Oct. 8, officers took a report involving a juvenile being assaulted on three separate occasions while at school. Officers met with the suspect, another juvenile, and received conflicting stories. Officers advised both juveniles to avoid one another while school officials investigate the matter. No charges to be filed at this time.
