Miller earns HCAC honors
Bluffton University junior Kim Miller (St. John’s) was named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday.
She led the Lady Beavers to a win over Earlham, finishing with 25 points (7-of-13 from the field, 11-of-13 from the line), seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
She ranks third in the conference in points per game (19.5), second in rebounds (7.8) and in assists (6.75).
The Beavers open HCAC play 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Founders Hall vs. the College of Mount St. Joseph.
