Delphos native killed in one-car crash
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single car double fatality at approximately 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Collin Stockwell, 22, of Lima and formerly of Delphos, and Thomas Wendel, 21, of Lima were both ejected from the vehicle in the 2100 block of Dutch Hollow Road. Their vehicle came to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery.
They were pronounced dead at the scene, according to a sheriff department press release. Officials are unsure of the time of the crash because the accident wasn’t discovered until the fog lifted enough for a passerby to see the vehicle.
It is unknown at this time who the driver was and the accident remains under investigation.

May God have gently lifted you into His heaven to spend your enternities in his glory. May God bless the family and friends and rest His healing hands upon them as they cope with such a tremendous loss. All of my love and prayers go out to you all.

I live just 3/4 mile from the crash scene. The speed limit posted for this area is entirely too high. Its a dangerous curve, and many accidents have happened here. The speed limit needs to be changed. Even the sheriff Sam Crish stated this.
We hope to find how to start a petition to get this speed on Dutch Hollow
changed.
Collin lived in my apartment complex and he was too young to leave this world, and will be sadly missed by all.
