Van Wert County Fair Cheerleading Competition
Area competition cheer teams competed at the annual Van Wert County Fair Cheerleading Competition Saturday. Above: the Van Wert All-Stars show off their skills. The All-Stars perform for exhibition only. There is not a division for the group. In the High School Division, Fort Jennings took first place. Team members include, front from left, Stephanie Bidlack, Melanie Neidert and Stephanie Clay; row two, Alexis Cummings, Taylor Wallenhorst, Alyssa Piasecki and Lauren Verhoff; row three, Andrea Heitmeyer, Kelsey VonLehmden and Tanya Korte; and back, Kaitlin Stechshulte, Elaina Maag, Rachel Horstman, Marissa Mesker, Mara Brown and Brittany Inkrott. Holgate took second; Napoleon was third; Van Wert placed fourth; and Lincolnview was in fifth. Other competitors in the division were Bath, St. John’s, Crestview and Spencerville. Lincolnview took first in the JV Division.
