Fred and Alice Allen of Wauseon announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Elizabeth, to David James Geckle, son of Jim and Pat Geckle of Delphos.
The couple will exchange vows Sept. 12 at Saint Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Wauseon High School; a 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration,; and a 2009 graduate of Defiance College, with a master’s degree in business administration. She is employed by Fulton County Health Center as a human resource professional
Her fiancé is a 1999 graduate of Fort Jennings High School; a 2003 graduate of the University of Toledo, with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; and a 2005 graduate of the University of Toledo, with a master’s degree in civil engineering. He is employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation as an engineer
