Portions of Elida under water boil advisory

The Village of Elida Water Department experienced a water main leak on Thursday.
Because the water supply was shut off for an extended period of time, it is necessary for some residents to boil water used for human consumption — water used for drinking and cooking — until further notice.
Areas affected by the boil order are East Road from Cherie Street to Baty Road and the Foust Addition, inclusive of Alex, Susan Ann and Sharon Rose drives.
