Bill and Mary Gerdeman observed 40 years of a marriage on June 7.
The couple celebrated with a surprise family get-together at Salt Fork State Park on June 7.
Bill and Mary Elaine Miller were married on June 7, 1969, at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Cloverdale.
They are the parents of three children, Amy (Jeff) Barall of Freeport and Gina (Eric) Wallace and Shawn (Liz Knapke) Gerdman of Delphos. They also have five grandchildren, Tate and Taylor Barall, Grant and Macy Wallace and Madeline Gerdeman. Another grandchild is expected in August.
Bill is a retired school teacher and still farms. Mary is the former owner of Silhouette Beauty Salon in Fort Jennings and is a homemaker.
