Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hempfling of Delphos celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 2.
A family gathering will take place in the fall.
Hempfling and Mary Beining were married July 2, 1949, in Ottoville by the Rev. Henry Gerwert.
They are the parents of two daughters, Judy Hempfling of Yellow Springs, and Mary Lou (Keith) Pohlman of Delphos; and two sons, Jack (Sandy) Hempfling of Le Roy, N.Y., and the late Terry Hempfling. They also have 10 grandchildren.
Hempfling is retired from Phillips Electronics. His wife is a homemaker.
