Mandi Shawver and Alan Rees were united in marriage on Dec. 5, 2008, at Crossroads Community Church in Cincinnati.
The bride is the daughter of Pam Shawver of Paulding, and Larry Shawver of Avon Park, Florida. The groom is the son of Ann and David Rees of Van Wert. Grandparents of the groom are Betty and the late Everett Jones, of Van Wert.
A reception followed at Beckett Ridge Country Club in West Chester.
The bride is a graduate of Paulding High School and Xavier University. She is employed as a human resources generalist with Med-Plus in Mason.
The groom is a graduate of Delphos St. John’s High School and the Ohio State University. He is employed with Lerner, Sampson and Rothfuss in Cincinnati as a senior systems administrator.
The couple reside in West Chester.
