Cancer run/walk set at fairgrounds

The Putnam County Health Department, along with the Ottawa-Glandorf Jaycees, will sponsor the “Win the Race Against Cancer” 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk on July 18 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.
The events will begin at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. Registration is $15 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. All participants are guaranteed a T-shirt if registered by July 10.
Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to winners of the 5K. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Putnam County Cancer Task Force and the Cancer Assistance Program. Entry forms are available at www.putnamhealth.com/news.htm.
