Mr. and Mrs. Gene Fuerst
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Fuerst of Lima will celebrate 60 years of marriage on June 28.
A Mass will be attended at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima, followed by a family dinner at The Old Barn Out Back.
Gene and Dorothy Honigford were married on June 25, 1949, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, the Rev. Henry Gerwert officiating.
They are the parents of two sons, Daniel Fuerst of Delphos and Michael (Michelle) Fuerst of Elida; and two daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Koester of Ottoville and Virginia (Robert) Livermore of Sidney. They also have eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one grandchild, Michael Koester, is deceased.
Mr. Fuerst is retired from Wrightway Food Service, formerly of Lima, and his wife is retired from the former Metropolitan Bank as a customer service representative.
