Mr. and Mrs. Homer Baumgartner

Homer and Jeanette (Huser) Baumgartner celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on June 7 with a family dinner.
The Pandora natives were married in the bride’s parents’ home on June 4, 1936.
They are the parents of five children: Sharon (David) Moore of Columbus, JoAnne (Larry) Troyer of Continental, Janice (John) Freund of Fort Jennings, Bob (Carol) Baumgartner of Delphos and Mary (Peter) Hofmann of Elida. They have 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Baumgartner was a truck driver and carpenter and retired after 34 years as a brakeman and conductor with the AC&Y Railroad. He completed a book. “Rambling along the ACY with Homer Baumgartner,” at age 93.
Jeanette is a homemaker who was active in Band Mothers and PTA and was a Sunday school teacher and Scout leader for many years.
