Katrina Elizabeth Hammons and Adam Michael Smith were united in marriage on July 12, 2008, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church by the Rev. Mel Verhoff.
The bride’s parents are Mark and Laura Hammons of Delphos. The groom’s parents are Dennis and Terrie Smith of Columbus Grove.
Nuptial music was provided by vocalist Paula Cilli, vocalist/pianist Laura Warnement and the trumpeter Bill Massa.
Maid of honor was Jessica Hammons of Delphos, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Andrea Hamlin of O’Fallon Mo., sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kristin Hammons of Delphos, cousin of the bride; and Julie Hemker, Stephanie Utrup, Annette Bonifas and Melissa Ardner of Delphos, all friends of the couple.
Flower girls were Riley Slusser, cousin of the groom; and Emelia Hamlin, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Curtis Swick, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Kyle Smith of Columbus Grove, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Brandon Brubaker of Columbus Grove, cousin of the groom; Brian Hermon, Kip McDowell and Mike Knott of Columbus Grove, friends of the couple; Justin Slusser of Lima, cousin of the groom; and Craig Honigford of Delphos, friend of the couple.
The bride’s grandparents are Catherine Hammons and the late Robert Hammons and Betty Swick and the late Jack Swick.
The groom’s grandparents are Jean Brubaker and the late Robert Brubaker and the late Ruth and Lynwood “Tony” Smith.
The reception was held at the Delphos Knights of Columbus following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to St. Thomas the United States Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Delphos.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. John’s High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio Northern University, with a bachelor of science in Health and Physical Education.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Columbus Grove High School and is employed as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Wapakoneta.
