Don and Irene Friemoth of Van Wert celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 25.
Don and the former Irene Koester were married on April 25, 1959, in the Immaculate Conception Church of Ottoville.
They are the parents of five children: Tim (Melissa) Friemoth of Van Wert, Linda (Michael) Hawk of Rockford, and Dr. Michael Friemoth of Van Wert. Twin daughters, Debra and Diane, died at birth.
They are the grandparents of five: Shae and Skyler Friemoth of Van Wert and Haley, Nicholas and Zachary Hawk of Rockford.
