Putnam YMCA to host ‘Family Fall Fest’ Oct. 18

The Putnam County YMCA and the Putnam County Children’s Fair Collaborative is sponsoring the “Family Fall Fest” from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 18.
This event is free and open to the public.
Many events and activities, provided by area agencies and businesses, are planned for this fun-filled day.   There will be open swimming, crafts, games free popcorn and lemonade, pumpkin patch and much more.  “Banjo the Magician” will be making balloon animals from 1-3 p.m. and performing a magic show at 3 p.m.
Free car seat checks, seat belt checks and SIDNE (Simulated Impaired Driving Vehicle) will be available in the Education Service Center parking lot.
A Costume Contest will also be held 4 years old and under at 1:30 p.m.; 5-8 year olds at 2 p.m.; and 9-12 year olds at 2:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.
