After finishing as runner-up in the State Class C Softball tournament in Delphos the year before, Flanagan Builders went unbeaten in 1983 at the State Tournament in Fairborn. Team members included, front row, left to right, Dale Martin, Chris Wells, Allan Honigford, coach Dave Wieging, Steve Etgen and Larry Stechschulte; and standing, Jay Kundert, Jeff Grothouse,  Duane Honigford, Gary Wieging, Joe Bullinger, Bruce Stechschulte, Gary Ehrnsberger and sponsor Harry Flanagan.
