James Louis and Mary Alice Mesker of Delphos, along with their family, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to St. Joseph, Mich., in early July.
Jim and Mary Norton were married on Aug. 16, 1958, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Lima.
The couple has five sons, Mike (Barb) Mesker, Ron (Mick) Mesker, Tom (Lissa) Mesker, Tim (Tina) Mesker, and Paul (Darcey) Mesker; one daughter, Diane (Paul) Iseman; and 11 grandchildren: Michael, Megan, Aly, Erin, Matt, Jenna, Zane, Erica and Conner Mesker and Colleen and Trey Iseman.
Jim continues to work at Westrich Store, where he started while in high school at St. Johns. Mary taught for one year at St. Gerard School in Lima before staying home to raise their six children.
