Tickets for The 5 Browns — considered classical music’s first family of piano virtuosos — who will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23 in the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert are now on sale.
The 5 Browns — Ryan, Melody, Gregory, Deondra and Desirae — originate from Utah and each had made their debut with a major symphony orchestra by the age of nine. The five became the first family of five siblings ever accepted simultaneously into New York’s Juilliard School of Music. The quintet enjoyed their first wave of critical attention in February 2002 when People magazine dubbed them the “Fab Five” and they also appeared on Oprah and 60 Minutes. They landed their first international recording contract and then released their first album in 2005.
The 5 Browns have sold out major venues throughout the world.
The box office, located in the Van Wert Federal Savings Bank Grand Lobby at 10700 State Route 118, is open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets can be purchased at the box office in person or by phone at 419-238-6722. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.npacvw.org.
