Streets workers repairing roadways

DELPHOS — As part of Delphos’ summer street repairs, maintenance workers were grinding and filling bad spots Wednesday on Park Street.
Jeff Stockwell, maintenance employee, said they had started the work on the northeast section of town and are now on the northwest section.
According to Stockwell, they have been patching alleys for approximately the last month.
“Wastewater employees have been cleaning out catch basins and we will be replacing the ones that need it,” he added.
Mayor Gallmeier said the catch basins that have been cleaned are marked with green paint.
The mosquito-fogging program will also continue on a scheduled basis.
