Mr. and Mrs. Chad Knippen
Laura Marie Hoying and Chad Michael Knippen were united in marriage April 19 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, the Rev. John White officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Eileen Hoying of Greenville and the groom is the son of Bill Knippen of Bellefontaine and Joyce Knippen of Lima.
Nuptial music was provided by vocalist Joelle York and organist Ruth Neargarder.
Matrons of honor were Terri Anne Bendele of Ottoville and Nicole Scott of Greenville, friends of the couple.
Bridesmaids were Molly Hoersten of Fort Jennings, sister of the groom; Ashley Mogle of Kent, friend of the couple; Lori Beining of Ottoville, sister of the groom; Kara Scott of Cincinnati, friend of the couple; and Cheryl Hellman of Fort Jennings, sister of the groom.
Flower girl was Kasey Knippen of Ottoville, goddaughter of the groom.
Ring bearer was Adam Hoersten of Fort Jennings, godson of the groom.
Best man was Todd Knippen of Ottoville, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Craig Spitnale of Ottoville, friend of the couple; Peter Hoying of Cincinnati, brother of the bride; Zach Hoying of Greenville, brother of the bride; Scott Calvelage of Ottoville, friend of the couple; and Jacob and Simon Hoying of Greenville, brothers of the bride.
A reception followed at the K of C Hall in Versailles.
Following a wedding trip to Tennessee, the couple reside in Ottoville.
The bride is a graduate of Greenville High School and Rhodes State College. She is employed with Lima Memorial Hospital in the occupational therapy department.
The groom is an Ottoville High School graduate. He is employed with Knippen Roofing and Construction.
