Mailman attacked by pit bulls

At approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday a Delphos mail carrier reported he had been delivering mail in the 500 block of Moening Street when two pit bulls attempted to attack him.
The carrier sprayed one of the dogs with a chemical agent and the carrier was able to avoid injury.
The owner of the dogs was located by police and the incident was resolved.
