Rosabel Basinger, 85, of Delphos, died at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday at Van Wert Hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1922, in Delphos, to Albert and Eunice (Follas) Miller.
On April 13, 1941, she married Harold W. Basinger, who preceded her in death. It was the first wedding in Delphos Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include sons Larry (Susan) Basinger of Delphos and Dean (Diane) Basinger of Cloverdale; daughter Donna Derner of Delphos; and 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four halfbrothers, Doyal, Harold and Howard Miller and Nick Gengler.
Mrs. Basinger was the last charter member of Delphos Wesleyan Church and was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and crafting.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, pastor Wayne Prater and the Rev. Chuck Brantley officiating. Burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church.
