Mr. and Mrs. Jack Devitt
Jack and Helen (Long) Devitt of Ottoville, will celebrate 50 years of marriage June 15 with a family dinner and open house. A trip to Peru is planned for a later date.
The couple was married June 14, 1958, by the Rev. William Friemoth at St. Patrick’s Providence Catholic Church in Grand Rapids.
They are the parents of Brent (Michelle) Devitt, Annette Devitt, Teresa (Ben) Brooke and Valerie (Eliseo) Escobedo. Their son, Gregory, is deceased.
Their grandchildren are Brendan, Christine, Madeleine and Catherine Devitt and Heather and Maria Brooke.
Jack is the retired director of adult education at Vantage Career Center. Helen is retired as a home economics teacher.
