Mr. and Mrs. George Wienken
George and Violeta Wienken of rural Delphos will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an 8:30 a.m. Mass May 25 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck. A celebration will follow at the Catholic Knights of Ohio Hall in Landeck.
George and Violeta Siefker were married May 29, 1948, by the late Rev. Isador Fries at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos.
Their daughter Margie (Art) Schmersal resides in Ottoville. Their daughters Arlene (Paul) Bockey and Dorothy Wienken are deceased. They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
George is a retired farmer and Violeta is a homemaker.
