Lady Green, Rockets cop PCL titles
COLUMBUS GROVE — The Ottoville girls edged host Columbus Grove 172-149 Friday in the Putnam County League Track and Field Meet.
On the boys side, Pandora-Gilboa beat the Bulldogs 166-130.
Continental finished third on the girls side with 52 points, followed by P-G (50), Fort Jennings (46) and Leipsic (35).
Leipsic (83) was third for the boys, with the Big Green (78), the Pirates (42) and the Musketeers (24) following.

Lady Lancers rally to nip Raiders
HAVILAND — Lincolnview’s softball unit scored three times in the top of the fifth inning and held on for a 5-4 non-league victory Friday night in Haviland.
Kristyn Jones got the win with four innings of no-hit relief (for starter Kela Fries), fanning two. Fries (2-for-3) gave up four runs (2 earned).
Young took the loss for the Raiders (8-13).
Stacy Giessler (2-for-3) and Laura Longstreth each had two ribbies for the Lady Lancers (18-6.
They are slated to open the Division IV sectional today (11 a.m.) versus Jefferson at Lincolnview (weather permitting).
