Jefferson slates alumni BB game

Jefferson’s annual Alumni Baseball Game — to raise funds for the ACME and junior ACME teams — has been set for June 1.
Warm-ups begin at noon and the game at 1 p.m. Live pitching will be allowed for the first three innings; innings 4-9 will use a machine.
The concession stand will sell brats and hamburgers, along with its usual fare.
There is a charge to play. A T-shirt is also available for an additional cost. A Home Run Derby (with an entry fee) begins at 11:30 a.m. with a slow speed on the machine and a closer-than-normal fence.
