City sets annual cleanup
DELPHOS — For the fourth year, the City of Delphos is offering its citywide spring cleanup. The program will be held from 8-11 a.m. Saturday and May 3. Participants need to bring a copy of a current water bill.
Dumpsters will be located in the lot across from the municipal building, 608 N. Canal St., and personnel will be available to unload items.
Items not accepted are tires, car parts, liquids, drums or barrels, no asbestos, no yard waste, paint (dried cans are acceptable), no gas or oil products, no televisions, computers or monitors or any hazardous materials.
City Safety Director Greg Berquist encourages the public to take advantage of the opportunity to clean up their property.
“Let’s make Delphos not only the friendliest city but the cleanest one as well,” he said.
