Ralph and Tillie Spieles of Delphos will observe 70 years of marriage on April 23.
They will celebrate with a family gathering on April 27 at Vancrest Assisted Living.
Ralph and Tillie Spieles were united in marriage on April 23, 1938, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville.
They are the parents of three boys, Jim (Dolly) Spieles of Wauseon, Bob (Lana) Spieles and Chuck (Judy) Spieles of Delphos; and three daughters, Marcia (Paul) Grothause of Delphos, Diann (Ernie) Neal of Columbus and Carol (Jerry) Honigford is deceased.
Ralph is a retired farmer and Tillie is a housewife.

    Congratulations. I just happen to open the Dephos Herald on line and saw this announcement. 70 years of marriage!!! how wonderful. I remember all the fun times you both had with my mom and dad, Andy and Marie. Where has the year gone!! I remember…going to the fair on Labor Day, CFM meetings at our house, and playing in your “fun” house at the farm. You both were always so happy and always had smiles on your face. My mom and dad so loved you both. I wish you warm congratulations and best wishes for you 70th anniversary.

    I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS FOR PRINTING MY GRANDPARENTS ANNIVERSARY IN THE PAPER. MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY THEY HAVE NOT SEEN IN A WHILE WERE THERE TO CELEBRATE. SADLY MY GRANDMA PASSED AWAY ON MAY 11TH. I’M GLAD SHE HAD THE CHANCE TO SEE EVERYBODY BEFORE SHE BECAME ILL. YOU ARE A VITAL PART OF THIS COMMUNITY AND WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT YOU ARE MUCH APPRECIATED.
